Ahhhhh, another new Plazuelo, I love waiting for his guitars to arrive. I was recently in Spain visiting Plazuelo and Marin and also to order two custom guitars, one from each builder. I shared with Antonio that his guitars were so good that at one point I actually sold all of my own personal Reyes guitars and enjoyed playing a Plazuelo. In fact it was only recently when I received my new Reyes Blanca that I switched to the new Reyes which is an incredible guitar as well. But it just goes to show you how close they are in some ways, that I switch back and forth between them like this. Plazuelo makes a superb flamenco Blanca. What I love most are is very crisp basses, they have an amazingly quick attack and are super responsive, the trebles are very clear and possess superior separation so arpeggios for example are super clean. Just great Blanca's, and when you factor in the wait and the price for a Reyes these days, it is no wonder many players are opting for a Plazuelo. This guitar arrived and true to form, contains all the attributes I mention here, another excellent Blanca from one of my favorite Flamenco builders in the world.
