This fine Bernabe Sr. has found a new home, If you are interested in a fine Bernabe guitar please contact me to discuss!!!

I recently acquired this fine Bernabe Sr. guitar from a very nice client of mine who has reached an age where he simply does not play any more. He has owned the guitar for many years, and when he contacted Paulino Bernabe Sr. about the guitar Paulino told him he built the guitar of his finest and oldest woods at that time. Paulino said that although he was not using the designation of "Royal" or "Imperial" at that time, that this guitar would be equivalent to what is now known as an "Imperial". Thus Paulino Sr. built this guitar using some of his very best aged woods, doubling the sides with Maple as he did later with his Imperial guitars. This magnificent guitar has been extremely well cared for by it's owner, who's wish is for a deserving player to provide a good home for this wonderful guitar so that it is played often and with love.

The guitar is in remarkably good condition, near mint, no cracks, no repairs and with only a very few very minor marks, but all in all it looks new at first glance. It is signed by Paulino inside the top as always. This guitar uses his more traditional bracing pattern, the style he used for many years before eventually evolving to the current modified fan braced style. As such it has a very gorgeous and very traditional Bernabe Spanish character to the tone. Ample volume, superb balance, and a very romantic personality.

This is a rare opportunity to own a Bernabe Sr., in near new condition, with Imperial level woods but at a fraction of the price of a new Imperial.
