2002 Eric Sahlin

Top: Cedar/Fan Braced
Back and Sides: Rosewood
Scale: 650mm
Tuners: Rodgers
Origin: USA

I have had the pleasure of offering Eric’s guitars through my shop for more than 20 years now and have always found them to be of the absolute highest caliber, maybe even somewhat under priced and under appreciated for what I believe they are, fantastic guitars by a very gifted and respected builder. This example is no different, with a shimmering lovely voice that captures your attention immediately, and enough volume/projection that for an instant i thought ‘wait is this a lattice braced guitar?’. A gorgeous combination of playability, lovely aesthetics and a captivating voice in fine condition with beautiful Rosewood back and sides and Rodgers tuners, a few minor string marks and evidence of play but nothing really objectionable. A lovely instrument. If you, like me, are a fan of Eric’s guitars, this will capture your heart.
