YIKES! I must have an angel looking out for me. Just days after I discovered and acquired the stunning 1989 Reyes Blanca listed next to this guitar, I was contacted by a wonderful gentleman in Europe and offered the opportunity to acquire this absolutely amazing '89. In surprisingly near mint condition too, with only a couple small marks otherwise it looks like it has been in a time capsule. Simply divine, looks like it was made yesterday.

Sound, hold on to your hat! Strong full-on Reyes trebles and raspy basses, great volume too, and played in so that there is also present a nice level of sustain. This is an ‘in your face’ Blanca and would tie with the '87 being now offered for 'the best Reyes Blanca' award. Even Sr. Reyes himself when recently asked, admitted that his '80's guitars are some of his very best. Those of us who are Reyes freaks, know that he is right.

This is a near flawless Reyes in any dimension you care to measure it by. Looking for the perfect Reyes?  Either this killer '89, or the wonderful '87 now being offered each can fulfill that goal. As with the '87 I had to pay a small fortune to acquire this guitar, so expect perfection, but don't expect a bargain!
