This phenomenal '80's Reyes has found a new home, I have been lucky enough to continue my streak of finding the best Reyes from his best decade, the '80's, I have a superior 85 Reyes that arrived recently, please call with any questions... How many hours have you spent listening to Vicente Amigo's '88 Reyes? How many times have you decided that the sound of his guitar has now defined what a Flamenco guitar is supposed to sound like? How many times have you listened to him play, then returned to your own guitar and thought 'its a nice guitar, but I wish one day I could hear THAT sound come out of MY guitar". Well none of us are likely to play like Vicente, but we can play a guitar that sounds exactly as his does ( I know I had a chance to play it briefly once and have heard him several times in concert ). Well, maybe the opportunity you have always dreamed of has come. Yes, it is a dream, yes it is expensive, but for those of us who love guitar, and in particular Flamenco guitar, can there really ever be anything more desirable than an 80's Reyes? This is the Reyes everyone is looking for but can rarely find. A like new '80's Reyes with the perfect Reyes sound. Reyes himself has said that his '80's guitars are among his most favorite, and this guitar is incredible. What does it sound like? Go get your Vicente Amigo CD and hear for yourself. That is the sound. Bold, bright, musical, punchy buzzy basses and clear incisive trebles with wonderful sustain and beauty in the tone as well. Put a capo on and strum the opening chord to "Morente" and let her pause and listen to the notes sing. Yet you can crank it up and play her hard and she won't back down, not even an inch. The perfect Reyes in many ways, and extremely well cared for by it's original owner, it appears as new really, it is quite unusual to get a Reyes of this age in condition like this. These don't come around often, yes I have had an extraordinary run of good luck with 80's Reyes but don't let the string of them I proudly display on my web site fool you. I have gone as long as five years without an 80's Reyes to offer, they are just not around that often. The price of the best Reyes has steadily climbed over the past ten years and shows no sign of slowing down, they are essentially the 'Barbero's of our time'. Call before they climb any higher. If a flawless 80's Reyes has always been your dream, well you can wake up now, your dream just became real. This is worth a phone call..... ©2008 Classic Guitars International • All rights reserved |
