This is the best Reyes Negra I have ever played. Bar none. I have sold many Reyes both blanca and negra, but this one is at the top of the heap. Bold robust volume, well balanced, and VERY Flamenco. As wonderful as Reyes Blanca’s and Indian Negra’s can be, I have noticed that his Brazilian Negra’s have a very special sound quality to them. A shimmering, glittery tone that sets them apart from all other Reyes. Reyes Blanca’s are rare, Reyes Indian Negra’s are even more rare, but the rarest of all is the Brazilian Negra. This is a superb Negra and will delight any flamenco player. The guitar is in excellent condition and is a players guitar, extremely well played in, and very open, in short- everything you have hoped for in a Negra. There are two inconsequential and perfectly repaired minor cracks, one small one near the low e tuning machine on the head, and one small 3/4" tight repaired crack on the back near the edge of the lower bout. A very light amount of playing wear in on the top, left on purpose as I repolished the top only and had no sanding done. A beautiful, stunning and rare Flamenco Negra from the finest living builder of Flamenco guitars in Spain today. When Arcangel Fernandez was recently asked “ who is the best flamenco guitar builder in Spain today?" he replied "There is only Reyes!". This guitar proves that...
