My friend and agent in Europe heard about this guitar. He is a superb Flamenco player and his wife is a dancer, he plays an '80's Reyes and so we both share the same opinion of what constitutes a 'killer' Reyes. He called me and said he discovered a one owner 87 Reyes that was in superb condition and that was rumored to be a really great sounding Reyes. He drove 6 hours at my request to play this guitar. He called me after and said "There is only one problem with this guitar", I said "What?", and he says "I can’t afford to keep it for myself!". Based on his evaluation I bought it sight unseen and when it arrived I found it exceeded even my high expectations. There are good Reyes, and there are great Reyes and then there are those “ are you ##&?#@ing me!” Reyes. This is one of those. I had to pay an arm and a leg to get it, so don’t expect a bargain, but if you have played a lot of Reyes and find yourself still looking for 'the one', call me. I have it here.
