This is a special model of Ramirez made just for flamenco, played by the likes of the great Manolo Sanlucar for example. It is a Ramirez 1a with a special flamenco action and golpeadores added and must be special ordered from Ramirez. This guitar was ordered for a friend directly from Ramirez by well known artist Juan Serrano and is in excellent condition. It has a lacquer finish and a very concert quality to the sound. It is very melodic, with excellent sustain and a comfortable action. Juan Carlos Romero is also playing this style of Ramirez lately. A very nice Negra in every way.
