The "Anacapa" models acquire several significant upgrades over lower priced models. The fingerboard is upgraded to Ebony, like the fingerboards of the world's most expensive guitars. The back and sides are upgraded to tripled Indian Rosewood which is beautiful and straight grained. The tuners are Fustero's from Spain. The soundboard is solid Canadian Cedar. Both nut and saddle are upgraded to bone which produces a better tone than the composite materials of lesser priced models. The neck is upgraded as well by the addition of a special inlay in the back which improves strength. The tone produced by these fine guitars is substantial, and projection and volume is greater than that of lesser priced models as well. Strong basses and warm yet clear trebles produce a very balanced tonal palette. Guitars come with a chipboard case. Each guitar is guaranteed by the builder to be free of structural defects for the life of the guitar!
