This fine Velazquez has found a new home. If you are interested in Velazquez guitars please contact me...

Manuel Velazquez is quoted as having said "a guitar is more than a sound box. It is part of your soul". His commitment and skill in bringing that theory to reality is evident when you play this guitar. The trebles glitter, and ring like jewels, and the basses are firmly present and balanced. The sound is indeed soulful and shimmering. Velazquez proves his point once again. Although well played in, this guitar is in nearly mint original condition, having been exceedingly well cared for, and has no cracks. The back is of perfectly quartersawn Brazilian, and the soundboard is of his trademark 'Bearclaw' German Spruce. His signature can be found as usual, inside on the back of the soundboard. This guitar is his larger body style. Several of my collector clients have remarked that the best sounding Velazquez they own are of this style. One of the cleanest Velazquez guitars I have had the pleasure of offering. Sr. Velazquez is hopefully going to be the subject of a feature film about his life produced by one of my clients. Sr. Velazquez has been very gracious providing details and memories about a recent guitar of his that I offered, and I am very pleased to provide my clients with yet another wonderful example of his art. The tuners pictured here have been replaced with the original tuners at this time.
