Robert's reputation spans decades and he continues to be one of the most sought after and respected builders on the planet, even though his long waiting list is now permanently closed. While known mainly for his fine solid top fan braced guitars, he has also been building beautiful double tops for years as well, though he prefers the more accurate phrase 'composite top'. Bob's level of building is standard setting so you can imagine the quality of this instrument. Bob placed a fine set of Rodgers tuners on the guitar, and added an elevated fingerboard as well. It comes with a TKL case. When this guitar first arrived I was entertaining clients visiting from Germany and France and I was only able to sneak away for a moment to play her. She originally had a set of strings on that did not resonate so well with me, so after my clients left I put some new strings on and played her again. Wow, I am always amazed at the sometimes complete difference a set of strings can make on a fine and sensitive guitar. The voice is quite simply that of a fine Ruck but with more volume and response. I like the sound ports many makers are utilizing on their guitars, it does enhance the players experience in a subtle but noticeable manner, and Ruck uses them well to this effect on this instrument. Another wonderful guitar from one of the worlds most widely respected builders. Please call me for a full description and additional details...
