Andreas is building stellar double tops, and while he builds wonderful cedar double tops, he has been very focused on building Spruce double tops and has really found a great niche with these guitars. I am a bit of a Spruce lover myself, and my own guitar is a Spruce Dammann Double top. In recent times I have been asking more and more double top builders to build in Spruce and the results have been simply stunning. We all love Cedar double tops, but for years, it was exceedingly rare to find a Spruce double top, so I am really happy to see them begin to flower now and to provide the attributes of the double top for all the Spruce lovers in the world.

This guitar is elegant, refined and flawlessly crafted, the French Polish is among the finest you will find anywhere. The craftsmanship is just top level in every detail, she is a beauty just to look at. Andreas utilizes an elevated fingerboard, a twelve hole tie block, and a great set of fine Graf tuners as well.

The voice is clear and the voices separate cleanly, very clear and nicely 'musical' nature. The basses are full and rich and the action is 'relaxing' and that i saying a lot in any guitar. If you love the sound of Spruce, and desire the response and volume of a fine double top, I think this guitar would appeal very strongly to you.
