What is it about some guitars that when you hold them and begin to play, you feel like you've been transported to sitting near the hearth by a warm fire, something so familiar and warm and comfortable, like slipping on your favorite old shoes. That's what this guitar does for me.

I can't describe the sense of anticipation I feel when I know Dominique is going to be sending a guitar. This guitar was due earlier this year and its slightly late arrival simply increased my sense of appreciation when it finally arrived. As always, so very worth the wait. If you've read any of my earlier comments about these guitars you might recall me half seriously thinking about proposing marriage to one of them :-), OK, my wife doesn't find that funny, but you understand don't you....

Dominique is arguably considered by many to be the 'new Friederich'. He is so humble that he is uncomfortable with this comparison, but I can tell you it is well deserved. I just sold a like new Friedrich recently and it is fresh in my mind. Close your eyes, play them both, and you would find that this description of Dominiques' instruments is spot on. This guitar, aside from the usual flawless craftsmanship has lush rich tonal colors, and a singing voice that is warm yet clear. A beautiful guitar crafted with love by a true artist. Lovely.
