This wonderful Romanillos inspired guitar has found a new home, I am hoping for another in 2011 please contact me with any questions.... David shares the distinction with Claudio Meneghelli of being one of only two luthiers in the world to be recognized by Jose and Liam Romanillos as a 'Romanillos Selected Luthier". Not surprisingly then, this instrument presents at the highest standards of building, flawless craftsmanship at the highest level. The skill demonstrated is superb and results in a stunningly beautiful instrument. David's guitars, again not surprisingly, are highly evocative of a new Romanillos, and posses the same much loved character. Beautiful, sweet, lyrical trebles and singing basses weave a colorful palette of tonal character that is musical and captivating, a pure joy to hear and play. David, like Romanillos, prefers to build in Indian Rosewood and Spruce, and the guitar is protected in a Hiscox case. There is no doubt that David is, as Jose and Liam have acknowledged, one of the finest builders in the world and I am honored to offer this example of his art....
