David shares the distinction with Claudio Meneghelli of being one of only two luthiers in the world to be recognized by Jose and Liam Romanillos as a 'Romanillos Selected Luthier". Not surprisingly then, this instrument presents at the highest standards of building, flawless craftsmanship at the highest level. The skill demonstrated is superb and results in a stunningly beautiful instrument. David's guitars, again not surprisingly, are highly evocative of a new Romanillos, and posses the same much loved character. Beautiful, sweet, lyrical trebles and singing basses weave a colorful palette of tonal character that is musical and captivating, a pure joy to hear and play. David, like Romanillos, prefers to build in Indian Rosewood and Spruce, and the guitar is protected in a Hiscox case. There is no doubt that David is, as Jose and Liam have acknowledged, one of the finest builders in the world and I am honored to offer this example of his art....
