Ah the French. Nobody quite understands the meaning of 'elegance' quite like they do. That is the first word that came to my mind when I first saw and then played this guitar: "Elegant". The tone is sophisticated yet emotional, precise and yet warm, sweet and yet clear. Elegant. I LOVE Dominique's guitars, and as I have noted before, he constantly is referred to as the 'next Friederich' ( he is a very humble fellow and this accolade he says makes him a bit self-conscious :-) " , nonetheless, I have several clients who own both a Friederich and a Delarue ( some people have all the luck!) and who heartily agree with this assessment, as do I myself.

This is a truly wonderful guitar that plays with precision and emotion and just glows with an inherent musicality, really one of my all time favorite fan braced builders, Delarue has created in this guitar everything that we all love so much about his instruments. A Friederich for a fraction of the price? unequivocally . Elegant indeed.
