You may recall that I not long ago I asked Greg to build me a guitar exactly like this one, but before he could send it to me David Russell had a chance to play it and not surprisingly decided to buy it! I asked Greg to build a duplicate of that guitar, same woods, Graf tuners etc and that is what he did. The result is an incredible guitar that confirms once again why Greg is so respected by some of the finest concert artists. Greg used a fine Cedar all wood lattice braced top, Rosewood back and sides, a jewel like and incredibly smooth and accurate set of Graf tuners, utilized his 'trademark' elevated fingerboard, twelve hole tie block, 20th half fret, position markers on 5/7/9/12/17- he just went 'all in' as my poker buddies say, with this gorgeous guitar. Volume and projection are plentiful, and the voice is rich and warm with excellent sustain that still allows for precise separation of voices, a smooth and creamy tonal palette that captivates instantly from the very first note. Cedar lattice guitars just seldom get any better than this.
