The last client who played a new Brück double top bought it instantly when he recognized it was the dream guitar he had been seeking all his life. The guitar was so precious to him that he could not accept the thought that if something happened to the first one, he might be without his dream guitar, so just as an insurance policy, he ordered a second one! Few guitars inspire that kind of commitment, but if you play a Brück you will instantly understand why his guitars have this effect on players. They are those rare guitars that create a reflexive grin on your face after just a few notes, and you don't even realize your grinning until you sense that your jaw hurts, and then notice that you've been grinning the entire time you were playing! This guitar is exactly like that. All I could do was grin as it challenged me to 'try this' and 'try that' and at every opportunity exceeded what I was expecting. This is perhaps one of my all time favorite double tops that I have ever played, yes, it is that good, really an incredible instrument. The volume and projection are excellent, ala Dammann, while the voice has Michel's unique and hauntingly beautiful personality. The voice has a full, rich, 'choir-like' presence that is warm and 'buttery' if you know what I mean. The guitar responds effortlessly to the players touch, and subtle nuances are there for the asking. Craftsmanship is standard setting and Michel has incorporated an elevated fret board, twelve hole tie block and superior French Polished finish. The tuners are Rodgers. A defining double top from Michel. Learn more about Michel Brück Guitars ©2010 Classic Guitars International - All rights reserved |
