This was a very fine Byers guitar and lasted exactly 4 hours once it arrived in the shop, if you are interested in a fine lattice braced guitar please call so we can discuss options... Greg has been one of my personal favorite builders for many years, and I know some fine artists like David Russell and some of the guys in the LA Guitar Quartet are also fans along with many others. Over the past few years I have noticed a more global awareness of Greg's guitars and inquiries about them from countries around the world have become fairly common. The last new Byers I had for example went to a fine player in China. I don't often get pre-owned Byers guitars so I am very pleased to offer this one. It is really a top level Byers with his best woods, Rodgers tuners, 20th half fret, and even a custom Calton case and case cover. This is his lattice braced model, the model that is in most demand, and it has the highly elevated fingerboard that Greg's guitars are known for, and as I have said often in the past, while they are definitely Greg's own design and personality, they often remind me of the best Humphrey Millennium's in terms of sound and playability. This Spruce Byers has an elegant voice, excellent volume, and of course supreme playability as well. No wonder Greg has so many fans, as this guitar proves yet again, he is building some of the finest lattice concert guitars in the world today.
