This is a brand new guitar from German Rubio. I have been offering these guitars for more than a decade now, and during that time German has been increasingly recognized as the excellent builder that he is. His Hauser model has always been my favorite, and they are widely played today,. Several concert artists have played and recorded with his guitars including John Holmquist and Jason Vieaux among others.

This guitar is great example of German’s work. The sound is fluid and not at all harsh and I suspect it will play in extremely well. Already it demonstrates very nice sustain. Great overall tone and German’s trademark ‘smooth as butter’ action. I feel that German’s guitars compare favorably with many guitars in the $7-8,000 range, and I am hard pressed to recommend another luthier who can do that for less than $6,000. The guitar is flawlessly French Polished, and has beautiful flame maple bindings, both serving to enhance the elegant beauty of this guitar designed after Hauser l.
