Michael's guitars just blow me away, period! When he and his son first visited me in 2006 I immediately fell in love with his guitars. I had been hearing about them for several years through my connections and they were getting rave reviews. With a persistent coaxing, Michael was finally able to break free from his schedule and bring a guitar over here to the USA for a really nice visit. Back then I would tell people about these great guitars by Michael O'Leary and the most common response was "who is he?", it reminded me of when I first fell in love with Jim Redgate's guitars and began offering them way back in 1997 often hearing the same remark, " Who's he?". Fast forward to the present and now most folks in our guitar world know very well who Michael is. David Russell, Sharon Isbin, Berta Rojas and others all own and play his astounding instruments. The owner of this guitar is a multi-instrumentalist who plays 40 different instruments on stage. He was so thrilled with his first O'Leary ( he had the foresight to immediately buy the very first O'Leary in the USA, the one that Michael brought when he visited me in 2006) that he immediately ordered two more. This guitar was intended as a 'back up' for his stage O'leary in case something happened to it, and so it has been kept virtually unplayed and is in literally like new condition. The owner is upgrading his recording studio and decided to sell this guitar to help fund that effort especially seeing that he has been lucky and his 'stage' O'Leary is undamaged and still going strong.

This guitar is in almost perfect new condition and it is a mindbendingly ( is that a word? It is now!) good guitar. Full, rich round, robust trebles and powerful complete basses with superb volume and projection and a gorgeous tone. Tonally O'leary guitars really sound like, well, O'Leary guitars! His combined lattice/fan braced system and unique combination of construction features creates an original and immediately recognizable sound, that obviously has found fans among some of the worlds best players.
