This guitar found a home quickly, please contact me if you are interested in owning a fine Dammann guitar...

I have had the privilege/pleasure of playing more new Dammann guitars than just about anybody except perhaps Matthias himself and maybe a few select friends. When I received this guitar I had to call Matthias in amazement and ask just how he continues, guitar after guitar, to bring even more to what many already consider to be the perfect guitar. Time and again he refines and shifts, and subtly raises the level of his guitars. Since creating the first double tops in the very early 80's he has inspired many builders to follow in his building style. And yet, he is not satisfied with creating a whole new genre of guitars, but his restless and genius-like sense for what is possible within the guitar, pushes him to ever higher expectations. Expectations he exceeds with every subsequent guitar. Ever the humble luthier, when asked how he does this he simply responds 'yes, I too am amazed that there is still more to be asked of my guitars'. He has added some very subtle internal enhancements that he successfully experimented with on a friends guitar last year. These, and other subtle advancements have created perhaps the finest Dammann I have had to date. Along with the trademark "Cello-like basses" and "Piano-like trebles" you find excellent volume and an even more beautiful (is it possible?) warm and rich tonal character. A very special Dammann, as they all are, but certainly this one stands out even amongst the rest. And the tuners? Why the very best: Graf of course! Divine.
