My long affiliation with Matthias and his guitars has provided me with the opportunity to see many of his fine instruments over the years. As with all great builders Matthias continues to innovate and his guitars have continued to evolve. This new instrument embodies the quintessential attributes that have caused many of the worlds most accomplished artists to play a Dammann guitar including David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Scott Tennant, Tilman Hoppstock, Thomas Muller-Pering, and Franco Platino.

This guitar possesses Damman’s trademark “Cello-like” basses and “Piano-like” trebles which combine to produce an ethereal, almost choir-like tone supported by abundant volume, excellent projection, and superb balance. One would expect nothing less of course. The workmanship is flawless down to the impeccable French polish. Cedar double top, Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and Sloan tuners complete what many might call ‘the perfect guitar’.
