This beautiful Marin was completed in 06 and purchased new in 07 by one of my clients. He loves this Marin, and as you will read, so do I, but he also fell in love with a lattice braced Humphrey Millennium and needed to sell one to buy the other. Hard choice! The guitar is in new condition with the exception of two or three very light marks on the top that you can only see if you hold the guitar in just the right light. Very rich dark brown Brazilian and a well crafted three piece back. The guitar is already quite open and has excellent volume (Matt Greif of the LA Guitar Quartet plays a Marin along side two Millennium's and a Dammann). A sweet and very Spanish nature are accompanied by excellent balance and a comfortable action creating a guitar that is well rounded and inspiring for player and audience alike. This is a very fine guitar from one of the best builders in Spain. Antonio keeps threatening to retire, and hopefully he will not do so soon, but I never know when I may get my last Marin for this reason. A fine Marin available now, and for less than a new Marin.
