This fine Fleta has found a new home, please contact me if you are interested in acquiring a fine Fleta...

Fleta's are iconic Spanish guitars and it is not often that I have one in the shop, so I am very pleased to offer this fine 2006 Fleta for your consideration at this time. Although the guitar has a cedar soundboard it actually has a blend of both spruce and cedar attributes. It has extreme clarity, superb balance, and is very focused, descriptions that might usually be thought of as more spruce-like in nature. At the same time it has good volume for a fan braced guitar and has the warmth we all equate with cedar. A beautiful blend. The overall effect is a very clear, direct, focused tone that is enhanced by a subtle warmth at the same time. Some Fleta's have a reputation for being a challenge on the left hand, but this guitar, even though strung with high tension strings, plays comfortably, and has a smaller 50 mm nut instead of the more common 52mm nut, so it is particularly nice for someone with smaller hands. A gorgeous guitar.

The guitar has been well cared for, there is a single string mark below the tie block in the usual place where the first string is tied, otherwise in near new condition. A slight dulling in the French Polish on the back was recently re-polished and now is barely noticeable. The guitar appears in 'near new' condition.

A rare opportunity for the discriminating player.

The builders of this guitar, both named Gabriel, are the son and grandson of Ignacio Fleta
