This guitar was acquired by a client of mine who desired, like the artist noted above, to have a guitar built by perhaps the finest living builder in Spain today. He ordered an Imperial from Paulino, with Graf tuners which will be completed soon. In the meantime, he bought this Especial to play while he waited nearly a year for his Imperial. Now that his Imperial is almost finished, he is selling this guitar.

This Cedar Especial has the volume of most lattice top guitars, no doubt aided by Paulino's double sided construction and his specially designed modified fan bracing system. The workmanship is flawless of course, and the woods are the finest and best aged in Spain. The back is Brazilian Rosewood with the inner sides also have a layer of Indian Rosewood. Every detail is perfection and the tonal character is imminently “Spanish” in nature: warm, romantic, evocative.

A beautiful opportunity to own a like new Bernabe at more than $1000 less than the cost of a new Bernabe.
